The Atlantic County Library System is comprised of eleven branches. The Galloway branch is located 3 miles from Four Seasons at Smithville. In addition to lending a wide selection of reading material, the library offers computer and Internet access and hosts special events. The library system has an extensive list of online resources, so residents don't even have to leave home to enjoy the benefits of the library.
The AtlantiCare Health System has received national recognition for quality of care. The system includes two Hospitals, three Emergency Departments, ten Urgent Care Centers, and four Health Parks to serve all of your needs. The Mainland hospital campus is only four miles from our clubhouse.
Galloway Township Senior and Social Services provides assistance, instruction, and support to older adults in the township.
In January 2026, the state-of-the-art VA clinic opened in Linwood, New Jersey. It represents a major expansion of health care services available to South Jersey veterans, providing more than double the previous space. This expansion allows the VA to increase existing outpatient clinic and pharmacy services and accommodate the pending addition of new services such as X-ray, CT scan, and physical therapy.
Stockton University, only a few short miles from our community, has a beautiful Performing Arts Center. It hosts many cultural and arts events throughout the year, including concerts, plays, and shows.
The Stockton University Center on Successful Aging offers education for personal enrichment and professional training. Stockton has intergenerational service initiatives such as a caregiver support group, events, workshops, and conferences. The Institute for Lifelong Learning runs courses that are free for Atlantic County residents 60 years of age and older.
Atlantic County's Division of Intergenerational Services provides a wide range of help for seniors. Services include Adult Day Care, Home-Delivered Meals, Statewide Respite Services, Legal Services, Residential Maintenance, Caregiver Assistance Services, Transportation, Home Care Services, Housing Assistance, and Adult Protective Services.
